Changing your dog's problem behavior can go beyond traditional dog obedience training classes. Behavior consultants establish the root causes of why problem dogs act the way they do, design a behaviorial change/training program to modify/improve the problem, and teach the owners how to effectively apply the program. Obedience training and owner involvment are always an integral part of any Behavior modification program.

In the Privacy of your home we will begin with a 90 minute consultation, which includes an asseessment of the problem,setting reasonable goals, instruction on implementing immediate management measures to facilitate the modification process; risk assessment; a consideration of all available options; and in most cases an introduction to starter exercises to start you on your way to a more rewarding and positive relationship with your pet
Behavior Change
Behavior modification consists of visits after the initial evaluation and is rarely, if ever, a quick fix. Successful students should be committed. The instructive procedure that your Behavior Consultant designs and you implement in order to try and change your dog’s current behavior problems, might include some of the following: certain suggested management measures, practicing particular behavior exercises on a regular basis with your dog, making some reasonable life-style changes, checking with your veterinarian regarding certain potentially problematic issues, paying closer attention to and learning about your dog’s methods of communicating with you, or even instruction on some helpful obedience cues, that your behavior consultant will teach you.
